Alison Daniels FCA

     Managing Director

Alison qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1977 in a West End practice in London.

After qualifying she moved to Smith & Williamson in London and spent 10 years working in specialised sectors such as farming, landed estates, studs and trusts before heading up the Small Business Department.

Since becoming a partner in Hughes Waddell in April 1989 her role has included being the Technical Audit Partner on clients such as charities, pension funds, Financial Services Authority regulated entities and solicitors.

Alison has a varied portfolio of clients and has a great deal of experience in assisting start-up businesses.

Nicola Miller MA FCA

     Tax Director

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with a large firm in London in 1979, Nicola spent some time living and working overseas until resuming her career in tax with a small firm in Farnham in 1990. She joined Hughes Waddell as tax manager in 1999 and became a partner on 1 April 2007.

As well as preparing tax returns, Nicola specialises in the provision of taxation and financial planning advice for individuals, small businesses and limited companies.

Nick Dodd ACA

     Accounts and Audit Director

Nick qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1997 and has considerable experience in auditing and also provides accountancy support and financial advice to small and medium sized companies, LLPs, partnerships and sole proprietors.

Paul Heighes

     Accounts And Business Development Director

Paul qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2001 at a top 50 practice. 

Since joining Hughes Waddell in 2007 Paul has continued to work closely with a number of small and medium sized enterprises.  He also has a great deal of experience assisting start-up businesses across a wide range of sectors.
